| Wool spinning is not that difficult. Once you learn the basics of how to use a spinning wheel, it's just a matter of practice. I've taught quite a few people how to spin wool at different venues. Young and old alike. We start by using a drop spindle in this course. Then spinning on a wheel is concentrated upon. Spinning wool, once you get proficient can be very relaxing. Our affordable lessons are located in Manchester NH. Convenient to Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont. Some people who learn to spin wool go on to different fibers. Spinning wool in these introductory classes does require hand / eye coordination. By my one on one method, this class should help you along. I also do demonstrations for historical and other venues. |
