Candle
This piece was hand made by a  local
craftsman (me) in New Hampshire.
It is from a solid iron rod that I
heated and coiled in the shape
you see now. The receptor piece
for the candle is made from
copper.
Legend has it that when a young man
came courting your daughter,
you could time his stay
by raising the candle to give him more
time if you liked him.
If not, you would lower it to
shorten his stay.
